Miley Cyrus, who some of you may know from a little television show called “Hannah Montana,” has a score to settle with the popular social network known as Twitter. Apparently, Ms. Cyrus tweeted herself into total isolation during her time in the Twittersphere, and now she is fighting back.
“I think that everyone should leave Twitter,” she told Chicago radio station B96. “I think Twitter should just be banned from this universe.”
“All I did was lay in bed on my computer and sit there and eat ice cream late at night,” she went to on to say. “You don’t end up living your life and you end up saying things that really is no one else’s business. And I’m not a big fan of the Internet anymore. I don’t really go online.”
So there you have it, kids. Twitter bad, living life good. Miley actually makes a very good point. I’m a fan of Twitter myself, but I’ve noticed that it really is an addiction for some people. Why spend hours chatting about Joe Jonas’s “hot” new haircut when you could be outside finding a hottie of your own? Take a lesson from Miley’s stalker: did he sit on Twitter all day talking about how sexy Miley is? NO! He went outside and took action, following his dream and chasing her halfway across the country.
..okay, bad example.
VERY bad example….actually, you know what, kids? Just stick with Twitter. Twitter is good.
