A quick Google News search for Miley Cyrus today yields several results from frustrated bloggers and news sources. Apparently, Miley Cyrus is NOT a fan of the Twilight series, including the new, just-opened film “New Moon.” And apparently, some people think Miley is out of line to judge a movie she hasn’t seen.

“I’ve never seen it and nor will I ever,” Miley said in a recent radio interview. “I don’t believe in it. “I don’t like vampires. … I don’t like the wolf that pops out of the screen when I’m watching my TV at night. I don’t like it.” She went on to say, “I don’t want anything to do with it. I don’t like the shirts. I don’t like any of it.”

So apparently, as the world is aglow with New Moon fever today, not everybody is on board. Miley admits that the anti-Twilight sentiment is a lonely road for a teenage girl to travel. “I feel really lame because everyone’s, like, so excited,” she said. “I’m like, ‘Don’t even talk about it.’”

But she’s not completely alone. Selena Gomez also recently expressed her indifference toward the Twilight series. Selena said on The Bonnie Hunt Show, “I don’t watch them,” adding, “Sorry, I feel bad … even though I am a teenager.”

Nevertheless, ‘Twilight: New Moon’ opens today, and you can bet it will be a smash hit.

We all know that that Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are total BFF’s. The two have appeared together on ‘Sonny with a Chance’ as well as Disney’s ‘Friends for Change’ campaign, and they frequently mention one another in interviews and send shout-outs via Twitter.

Now Demi is discussing how their frienship remains tight. She told BOP! that “over the past year, we’ve both been very emotional because of everything, so we’ve argued a little bit, but it doesn’t last long at all. Selena is one of my best friends. She is my rock.” She went on to point out that their friendship remains tight due to Selena’s willingness to back down from an argument. Said Demi, “I’ll be like, ‘Dude, not cool’. And she’ll totally take and be like, ‘OK, I’m sorry.’”

Demi can be seen each week on her hit show ‘Sonny with a Chance’ and in the upcoming film ‘Camp Rock: The Final Jam.’ Selena can be seen each week on the popular Disney sitcom ‘Wizards of Waverly Place.’

So MTV and other sources are reporting that “Wizards of Waverly Place” star Selena Gomez is set to star in a new film called “What Boys Want.” The premise sounds suspiciously similar to Mel Gibson’s “What Women Want” from a few years back: basically Selena plays a girl who can read the thoughts of boys. If that’s the truth, then I am DEEPLY, DEEPLY sorry, Selena, for the sick, depraved things you’re going to hear from our sick, depraved minds. Little else is known about the film, but I’m sure it will be a hit.

I’m also fairly confident that it will be family friendly. Disney would never be crazy enough to let one of their teen starlets appear in a film called “What Boys REALLY Want,” because that might not be suitable for people under the age of 40. And if people over the age of 40 are watching, then that opens a whoooole other can of worms.
