As you know, today is Veterans Day here in the U.S. Perhaps you spent it with family, friends, at Starbucks or even at work (for those of us unlucky enough to be working while our friends are out having fun!), but today is the day when we honor those who have served in the U.S. armed forces.

In the spirit of this fine Veterans Day, a few of your favorite Disney stars sent shout-outs to the troops via Twitter.

Tiffany Thornton, the perky young up-and-comer who plays Demi Lovato’s best frenemy Tawni Hart on “Sonny with a Chance” is very excited to be featured this week at Girl2watch.com.

Tiffany took to the Twittersphere (try saying that five times fast) on Monday and excitedly tweeted the following:

Anyway, check out the feature for yourself. It includes some cool info about Tiffany and a bunch of photographs as well. And be sure to watch Disney’s hit series “Sonny with a Chance” Sunday nights, 8/7 central. Because if you don’t, leprechauns will kidnap you while you sleep.

Well, here’s an odd little gem that’s quickly gaining popularity around the Twittersphere: a ten-minute, DIY film directed by ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ star David Henrie (along with his cousin Johnny Salvatore) entitled “Boo!” With more twists than an M. Night Shyamalan thriller (and far more entertaining than most), this micro movie features some familiar Disney stars including Tiffany Thornton and Brandon Mychal Smith from ‘Sonny with a Chance.’ Smith’s sequence is particularly enjoyable, so be sure to watch the entire thing.

It’s like “Disney Presents: Paranormal Activity.” You have to give credit to a team of kids that just goes out and does this stuff on their own. Creativity in action. Perhaps the Blair Witch Project would have been this much fun if we weren’t forced to endure 90 minutes of it.

A new episode of Disney’s hit “Sonny with a Chance” airs tonight at 8/7 central. Starring Demi Lovato, Tiffany Thornton, and guest starring famed ventriloquist Jeff Dunham, tonight’s episode features possessed puppets, dumb blonde joke controversies and forbidden restrooms…in other words, it should be a blast. One thing that always impresses me about Sonny with a Chance is how they can pack thirty-seven storylines into a single twenty-two-minute episode. It’s truly amazing. Every time I watch an episode of this show, I feel like I’ve just watched an entire film. Anyway, looks like tonight is no exception, so be sure to tune in.
